Consulting Audit Design Implement Manage

Understanding what is happening and developing a design baseline

Our range of comprehensive audits utilise state-of-the-art, calibrated data capture tools to record:

  • Radio Frequency Analysis
  • Network Equipment Inventories
  • Wireless Device Locations
  • Physical Building Characteristics
  • Existing Network Performance

They are a key element, either as an integral part of an ongoing project, or as stand-alone services that form part of a pre- or post-wireless implementation, as well as offering invaluable ongoing management information.

The result of an audit is presented in a clear, easy to understand format, with detailed graphical illustrations where relevant, providing extensive information that could include:

  • An accurate picture of network status
  • Performance data - connectivity, coverage, etc.
  • Equipment details - an inventory of all equipment detected, known and unknown
  • Recommendations - a commentary as appropriate on key issues such as interference, security, health & safety and compliance

Health & Safety RF Audit

Does your office or building conform to RF (Radio Frequency) Health & Safety Regulations?

Do your radio and wireless systems operate within acceptable levels?

Do you comply with current HSE (Health and Safety Executive) guidance?

How do you know? When did you last check?

There is an obligation on all employers to ensure that all wireless RF emissions within the workplace are compliant with industry standards.

Contact us today to make sure you comply...

Red-M can help you ensure you're acting in accordance with all current H&S legislation, as it has been involved in the long term study of RF waves and the possible effects on human health for a number of years.

A Red-M Health & Safety (H&S) RF Audit provides the expert advice and assistance you require, with a concise report giving you a clear picture of RF emissions at your site, along with any recommendations for appropriate action.

Such an Audit is now as necessary as the regular safety checks on fire extinguishers and lifts because, in 2008, additional legislation comes into force making compliance a legal duty under Health & Safety At Work regulations. Employers need to:

  • Guarantee safety and compliance
  • Minimise liabilities
  • Manage risks
  • Clearly communicate to employees

Red-M's specialist expertise will help you do this and enable your business to derive all the positive benefits of wireless.

Cellular Benchmarking

Designed for network operators, this service provides information on how the service is performing from the point of view of customers, across different regions, compared with other operators and when compared with historical data. The objective of the service is to help operators improve levels of customer satisfaction and reduce churn levels.

Red-M’s service for 2G and 3G spans a number of different aspects of the network including signal strength, signal and voice quality. The results are presented both as high level management reports and as more detailed technical documents, into which users can drill down into specific data.

Site Footprint

Designed primarily for operators, this service provides an alternative or an extension to the planning tools which are typically used to identify suitable sites for a new base station. Results from other planning tools can often be inadequate or inconclusive. Red-M’s approach is to install a transmitter at the potential locations, carry out a survey with calibrated equipment and produce detailed reports, which can then be imported into the planning tool. The Site Footprint service ensures that the optimum site is selected, based on comprehensive data.
