High precision outdoor wireless coverage prediction tool for high certainty thereby increasing confidence in system coverage
Hi-Res from Red-M is an in-house network planning tool that enables highly accurate network planning for explicit coverage requirements. Originally developed as a broadcast planning tool for wide area accurate predictions it is also appropriate for predicting outdoor coverage of wireless systems over areas from a small village or suburb right through to a national coverage system.
Hi-Res specifically takes into account terrain and buildings and modelling does not assume any arbitrary parameters. The predictions are therefore highly accurate and more detailed, especially in the presence of buildings when compared to conventional tools.
It is applicable to all wireless technolgies including Digital TV, TETRA, WiMax, Cellular, Wi-Fi.
